Emergency Food Services

More than 1 million emergency meals served during the pandemic.

The Lemons and Olives team is resourceful, agile, and decisive under pressure. We understand adaptability, urgency, and the importance of acting quickly when communities are in need.


During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, Lemons and Olives stepped up to prepare 20,000 meals per day. We home-delivered meals to 2,000 older adults, throughout Queens and Brooklyn six days a week.

In partnership with the World Central Kitchen, we also prepared and delivered 3,000-5,000 nutritious meals per day, seven days a week, to frontline hospital staff across New York City.

What we do

WE PROVIDE LARGE-SCALE EMERGENCY MEAL PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION FOR GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS ACROSS NEW YORK CITY AND MIAMI.

DSNY

With an emergency government contract from the NYC Department of Sanitation, we produced 20,000 meals daily for homebound older adults across Queens and Brooklyn, maintaining consistent production and reliable delivery six days per week.

We were honored to work closely with WCK during and after the pandemic, preparing thousands of daily meals for frontline hospital staff and communities in need.
